Comment: It's dorky, but if you are balding and worried about skin cancer it is perfect. Neck guard is removable to lessen the dorkiness, but I keep it on for added dork credibility. Chin strap is comfortable and won't choke during wipe outs. L/XL is good fit for my head, and probably most of the adult population.

Comment: The fabric is great and fits fairly well. For me would be better if it was smaller, but I have a small head! Also, long hair tends to get caught up in the interior buttons - ow! Best to remove.

Interested in the Dakine Indo Surf Hat. Your sizes say s/m or l/xl - how do I know what size would be best for me? The Indo Surf Cap is a standard adult size hat that seems to run a bit small, so if you have a larger than average head size, you may want to go with a large/x-large. The inside circumference measures roughly 24".
Does the Indo Surf Hat from DaKine run true to size? The Indo Surf Cap seems to run a bit small, so you you have a huge melon you may want to know the measurements. The inside circumference measures roughly 24".
