Item Details
The Klay sunglasses from Kaenon feature Kaenon's Patented SR-91 Polarized lens technology. What's SR-91? In short, the lens has the optical clarity of glass with the light weight and impact resistance of a Polycarbonate lens. So you no longer need to choose between optical clarity and a light, impact resistance lenses. You get both with Kaenon's patented lens.
Kaenon does us all a favor by labeling their lenses with a color code and light transparency. So in a G12 lens, the "G" stands for Grey and the 12 is 12% light transmission. A C28 lens is a copper colored lens with 28% light transmission (not as dark as a C12).
Klay is distinguished by a universal fit with performance and protection features that double as design treatments commonly found in many of Kaenon's best selling styles. Designed in California and made in Italy out of injection-molded TR-90, Klay is a wrapped, 8-base frame with tall temples for element protection from sun, wind, water and dirt. Then tapers off into flexible and comfortable temple tips for all-day use. Buried Variflex nose pads further comfort and performance attributes no matter what your activity or use.

Comment: These are high quality shades. Kaenon's lenses are second to none. The frames are solid. I ended up returning these as they were a little large for my head, but I own two other pair of Kaenon's and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to friends.
