Because it's a Freestyle, it has a mineral gloss lens to prevent scratches and a limited lifetime manufacturers warranty.

I want to buy the Freestyle Shark Classic PU Watch - Black / Blue / Yellow for swimming; is there a guarantee how long the watch will remain waterproof. Can I return it if it does not remain waterproof? A swimming coach said that once the seal is broken to put in a new battery chances of the watch remaining waterproof is reduced. Thanks, Tom This watch is a great choice to use for all water activities. As long as it is treated with care, the watch will function for quite some time. Freestyle has a lifetime warranty plan that covers all of their watches.

What is PU in the title? It has a Polyurethane (PU) band.
